LeadMatrix operates a B2B research, ratings, and review marketplace. This policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you use our websites, apps, and related services.
2. Information we collect
- Account data — name, work email, password (hashed), company affiliation, role.
- Profile & listing data — company profiles, portfolios, service categories, contact details you publish.
- Reviews & projects — review text, ratings, project descriptions, proposals.
- Usage data — pages viewed, search queries, device type, approximate location (IP-derived), cookies and similar technologies.
- Communications — support messages, newsletter preferences, notification settings.
- Payment metadata — plan type, invoice status, and limited billing identifiers processed by payment providers (we do not store full card numbers).
3. How we use information
- Provide and improve directories, rankings, search, messaging, and project matching.
- Verify reviews, moderate content, and prevent fraud or abuse.
- Send transactional email (security, account, project updates) and optional marketing you consent to.
- Operate billing for PRO and sponsored products.
- Comply with law, enforce terms, and protect the rights and safety of users and LeadMatrix.
- Produce aggregated, non-identifying research and marketplace statistics.
4. Legal bases (where applicable)
Depending on your region, we process data based on contract performance, legitimate interests (secure marketplace, product improvement), consent (marketing, non-essential cookies), and legal obligations.
5. Sharing
We may share data with:
- Other users, when you publish profiles, reviews, or project information.
- Service providers (hosting, email, analytics, payments) under contractual safeguards.
- Authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

We do not sell personal information for money. Sponsored placement does not include sale of your private account data.

We retain account and marketplace content while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for disputes, security, and legal compliance. You may request erasure subject to legitimate retention needs (e.g. fraud prevention, legal holds).

We use industry-standard measures including encrypted transport (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; please use a strong unique password.

LeadMatrix is intended for business users age 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
